OUR VISION
Empowering people for positive change through education and inspiration
Mundekulla is an ecological course and retreat center in the countryside of Småland: The place where also the famous botanic Linnaeus and Pippi Longstocking come from. At Mundekulla people come together for courses, conferences and festivals, from 15-300 people, on personal development, mindfulness, creativity, nature and of course: beautiful nourishing food.
Mundekulla is built on sustainable principles ever since it started over 20 years ago. From the buildings to green energy, from social justice to peace projects. Our biggest wish is to inspire people with the things we do and the food we make.
We want to create experiences, arts, learnings and inspiring food you just have to bring home to share with your loved ones.

NEWS FROM THE WOODS

MUNDEKULLA'S MUSIC IS NOW ON SPOTIFY!
OCTOBER 2022
From Mundekulla's beginnings, music has been an important element of courses, events and concerts. Some of these songs are now available on Spotify and more will be added.
We have also created movements for selected songs, called "Mundekulladanser". They have been a valued feature at Mundekulla Festival's morning gatherings. The dances have been partly arranged for choir by Anders Nyberg and he writes the following text in the choir booklet:"These songs have grown at the retreat center Mundekulla in the brightest Småland. Peter Elmberg and Anne Solveig have together manifested a place that sings, or perhaps it is rather the songs that have created a room where people long to come and come back. A place where we can practice in peace. A place where we can rehearse in peace and quiet, until the simple and obvious sit without us thinking about it. Where the word and the action become one and the dance is threaded in community and joy".

MUNDEKULLA ECO TOWER
"Mundekulla Eco Tower" offers a fantastic view of the wilderness and the tranquility that surrounds the place 22 meters above ground. On the first floor, we will describe more about our sustainability work on the theme "8 pillars of sustainability" where each pillar that supports the tower may symbolize a branch of Mundekulla's sustainability philosophy. There will also be three overnight rooms on the first three floors and a conference / meeting room at the top.
Welcome to buy a step in Berndt Elmberg's dream project. Read more here.

"I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world and I am free. "
- Wendell Berry
