OUR VISION

Empowering people for positive change through education and inspiration

Mundekulla is an ecological course and retreat center in the countryside of Småland: The place where also the famous botanic Linnaeus and Pippi Longstocking come from. At Mundekulla people come together for courses, conferences and festivals, from 15-200 people, on personal development, mindfulness, creativity, nature and of course: beautiful nourishing food.

Mundekulla is built on sustainable principles ever since it started over 20 years ago. From the buildings to green energy, from social justice to peace projects. Our biggest wish is to inspire people with the things we do and the food we make.

We want to create experiences, arts, learnings and inspiring food you just have to bring home to share with your loved ones.

PEACE CONCERT FROM MUNDEKULLA

SENT 16 JANUARY 2022

The other day, Swedish Radio heard contacted us and announced that our Peace Concert consisting of 12 tuned peace prayers from different traditions will go as a radio service on World Religion Day on 16 Jan 2022. The concert was recorded in Mundekulla 2019 and will now be repeated.

The picture of the wagon wheel above has become a symbol for this concert and the wagon wheel is placed as a window on the hay barn in Mundekulla. Each spoke is a symbol of a respective tradition and in the middle all paths meet and there is consensus and understanding, while at the edge of each spoke the strife arises as we seem to be very far apart. In the time we live in now, it is extra important to stay close to the center and seek understanding and reconciliation before separation and division. The goal is for the 12 songs to be released on Spotify soon, as well as many other wonderful Mundekulla songs.

Listen to the concert here.

MUNDEKULLA ECO TOWER

"Mundekulla Eco Tower" offers a fantastic view of the wilderness and the tranquility that surrounds the place 22 meters above ground.  On the first floor, we will describe more about our sustainability work on the theme "8 pillars of sustainability" where each pillar that supports the tower may symbolize a branch of Mundekulla's sustainability philosophy. There will also be three overnight rooms on the first three floors and a conference / meeting room at the top.

Welcome to buy a step in Berndt Elmberg's dream project. More info within short!

"I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world and I am free. "
