With coach Björn Karlsson

Wim Hof Method Weekend
February 16-18, 2024

We are incredibly excited to invite you to ice-bathing through the famous Wim Hof Method, together with WHM certified coach Björn Karlsson! You will learn indepth about the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Commitment and find out how you can utilize oxygen and cold exposure to optimize body & mind, and learn about the underlying physiology.

Join this Wim Hof Method weekend on 14-16th of April 2023. If you can't wait until April, join us for the 1-day fundamentals workshop in February (find more info here).

We have been ice-bathing at Mundekulla for many years in the surrounding waters - and we are looking forward to dive deeper into the different breathing techniques, the skills and mindset that can support our stay in the cold and the science behind the health benefits. Find more info and booking options below.

Wim Hof Method Weekend

During this weekend, Björn Karlsson takes you on a trip of three days for an extended Wim Hof Method training session. WHM Weekends are meant to be a deeper exploration of the Wim Hof method than can be covered in a workshop.

Over the course of this weekend, all aspects of the Wim Hof Method will be covered in detail. You will learn about the physiological mechanisms involved and engage in a variety of breathing and cold therapy activities. Björn incorporates other activities that work in synergy with the Wim Hof Method — such as meditation, nutrition, physical performance, stress management, mental mindset for focus et cetera — based on Coach Björn's own specialization and areas of expertise.

The WHM weekend is limited to 25 participants. The intimate quality allows for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. Whether you want to improve your mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms related to an illness or just curious about what the Wim Hof Method is all about in depth and get a unique experience – a WHM weekend offers something for everyone.

Who is this weekend for?

This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

The instructor: Björn Karlsson

Björn is a Swedish Wim Hof instructor from Kalmar, 43 years old with a 9-year-old son. Exercise and nutrition have been his true passion for as long as he can remember, but it was not his profession. Becoming a Wim Hof instructor has given him so much and being able to inspire others to better health is something he is passionate about. To each time be present with another person when they discover something completely new and often revolutionary for the first time within themselves.

“After going through fatigue syndrome myself  2 years back due to an all too hectic 20 years in IT project management business I discovered the amazing healing and energizing effects of the Wim Hof method. Beside getting my energy back and reducing stress I also quickly discovered my asthma symptoms disappeared and my problem with cold white fingers during winter time completely disappeared. Today I don't even need gloves when playing in the snow with my 9 year old.

I also came to realize I truly love to inspire others towards better health both physically and mentally. I decided to embark on the journey toward a new career to be a health coach and become a certified Wim Hof instructor. I am convinced that anyone can take back control over their health just like I did, and am super excited to assist you in your own journey.”

Testimonials

“Top marks for this enriching course!!
It was an incredibly rewarding and inspiring day and I feel both happy and grateful for this experience! Björn is a knowledgeable, warm and educational instructor with clear compassion and commitment and who is really passionate about the subject. He conveys a sense of security and calmness that made the day very harmonious and on something we even managed to make me relax for 2 minutes of ice bath!

"When I booked the course, I did it as part of my personal development. I had no in-depth knowledge of the method, but a quick search online made me feel that Björn and Mundekulla were something I wanted to investigate
closer. I received a very pleasant reception that lasted the entire course. Björn was clear   and listened and adapted the content to us participants so that we got the most out of it. The atmosphere that Björn and Mundekulla created meant that people are happy to recommend and think about a continuation course themselves. For me, the breathing exercises were powerful and gave a greater effect than expected. The ice bath was surprisingly cold, but Björn's guidance meant that I consciously handled the situation. The effect of the day lasted and I had a calm that I haven't had in a long time. So I am obviously very satisfied after the course and recommend Björn as a coach.

"the course for me has really affected me deeply, what I was looking for I have found through you, thank you for your commitment and support through the ice bath that I went through in 2 minutes it would never have gone without you, it strengthened me afterwards to be able challenge me more than I thought
